The sun has been threatening to make an appearance for weeks now and I’ve got it on good authority that we’re due some warm sunshine over the next few weeks. Last year we didn’t need to worry about his wardrobe too much as we relied on dressing him in layers; sleeveless vests and cropped romper suits with lightweight fleeces for the cooler afternoons. Of course, this makes me think about Little Mr’s wardrobe and what clothing he will need for his Spring / Summer wardrobe this year.
The shops are beginning to fill their shelves with spring / summer essentials with staple pieces hanging from the rails. There are bright and bold coloured tees, cropped trousers and classic lightweight jackets, all popular this season for stylish little fellas with delicate, floral dresses and pastel knits perfect for little ladies.
Comfort and practical clothes are high on the wardrobe wishlist as there’s certainly no stopping Little Mr this season. We’ll be spending a lot of time outside enjoying the sunshine with fun days out at the park and day trips to the beach. I’ll be buying Little Mr plenty of t-shirts, polo shirts and lightweight hoodies so he can layer up to stay ahead of the British weather. I’m hopeful that he’ll be walking by late Spring, early Summer so cropped trousers will be best for him to keep cool and protect his precious knees that are already taking a battering as he’s exploring his adventurous side whilst toddling about.
There’s a huge range of clothing perfect for stylish little lads available online this season and I’ve stumbled across a lovely boutique with a full childrens designer clothes range, check out Strawberry Children. There’s a collection of well known brands such as moschino kids, ralph lauren and Catimini if you want to spend a little more on your ones to make sure they’re looking super stylish this season.
