Review and Giveaway: Name a Star Gift Tin

review and giveaway

If you’re looking for something completely different this year for a Christmas gift, maybe for that family member who literally has everything or a friend who is as sentimental for Baby’s First Christmas as I am. This is something completely out of this world; The Gift Republic Name a Star Gift Tin.

Name a star

This gift allows you to name a real star in the night sky and details of the star and the name you choose will be kept in the Gift Registry Star Registry which is then sent onto the British Library for their records. It’s important to mention that obviously you can’t claim any rights to the star and you don’t actually own it, it’s simply naming one of the billion shiny stars that light up the night sky after sunset.

The Gift Tin includes a registration form, full details, star fact sheet and a souvenir star map poster. To celebrate Little Mr’s first Christmas, we’ve named the star we were allocated after him with his date of birth in roman numerals. Upon registration, we’ve received a star deed certificate so we can show Little Mr in years to come that there’s a star up there somewhere in the sky with his name on it. I think it’s a great alternative way of commemorating Little Mr’s first Christmas.
