Review: The perfect Christmas blanket from Buy A Kilt (AD)

I always struggle to buy gifts for my Grandparents at Christmas. They aren’t particularly fussed with food or drink gifts. My Nan is always on a diet and my Grandad rarely drinks. They don’t need toiletries as they’re both happy with the products they have used over many years and there’s nothing they need for their home which is full to the rafters with their lifetimes collection of keepsakes.

This year I’ll be gifting them to something a little different. A cosy tartan blanket from Buy A Kilt. It’s a winner of a gift. It’s large and cosy, ideal for two to snuggle under whilst watching a film and the snow falling down on the ground outside. It sounds very romantic but in reality, they’ll both probably fight over it and my Grandad will end up falling asleep under it whilst the TV is on this Christmas.

The blanket (also known as a rug) is exceptionally well made. It’s made from pure wool, the tartan blanket is quite heavyweight and is rather cosy. The blanket is a very generous size, measuring approximately 5ft by 6ft, it’s ideal for laying on the end of the bed, snuggling up to on the sofa next to the fireplace or would even be ideal as a picnic blanket for the summer months. It’s so versatile.

Price

The Royal Stewart tartan rug is available from Buy a Kilt and is priced at just £25. It’s an ideal Christmas gift for those loved ones who have it all and will help someone keep warm this Christmas. I cannot wait to gift this to my Grandparents this year.
