Starting our Shilton Family Christmas traditions..

shilton family christmas traditionsHaving spent the last couple of months thinking about the Christmas traditions both hubby and I want to start with Little Mr, the time is rapidly dissappearing. It’s now come to that time of year when we can actually start some of our new traditions that we have as a family and I can’t tell you how excited I am!

Tonight Little Mr, hubby and I will be spending the evening in Birmingham City Centre enjoying the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market. Hubby and I have been on numerous occasions and enjoyed looking at the beautiful sparkly decorations, checking out the wonderful array of Christmassy products on sale and sampling the food and booze on offer (minus the silly hats we wore one year as part of hubby’s annual department night out)

Silly hat night

We’ll be taking Little Mr all wrapped up in his cosy Affinity pushchair to have a look at the sparkly bright lights and hear the Christmas music and I think he’s going to love it. In years to come he’ll be able to enjoy the carousel, eat chocolate covered fruit and choose a decoration from one of the wooden huts to hang on the Christmas tree at home. Tonight marks the start of the Shilton family Christmas traditions that we hope to keep up every year and enjoy as a family and I can’t wait!
