It will soon be time to put the Christmas decorations up and get the house looking festive and this year with Little Mr celebrating his first Christmas, I wanted to be able to start a new tradition. Each year I’d like to buy Little Mr a new decoration for the tree so that each year he gets a new decoration to hang up and in years to come he would have his own little collection of decorations to adorn his own tree. How I would part with such treasured keepsakes is anyone’s guess but the thought is there!
To celebrate Little Mr’s first Christmas, the lovely people at Getting Personal have sent him a selection of personalised 1st Christmas tree decorations from their latest Christmas range to start off his decoration collection.
The 1st Christmas snowflakes decorations are really lovely. Made from a fabulously shiny silver metal these 2 sided snowflakes are engraved with Olly’s 1st Christmas. They are a great size (5.8cm x 5cm), perfect for adorning the tree whilst detailing the special occasion. They come complete with a red ribbon loop ready for hanging and help create the wintery festive look for Christmas.
£12.99 for a set of 2 snowflakes which are available from Getting Personal and in my opinion are very good value for money. I really like these snowflakes, they are well made and look brilliant.
If snowflakes aren’t festive enough for you, these personalised engraved 1st Christmas tree decorations are great. Standing at 5.4cm tall these Christmas tree decorations are a good size and will look great on any Christmas tree. Engraved with Olly’s 1st Christmas and ready for hanging with the red ribbon loop, they make a lovely keepsake.
Both the snowflakes and trees come with 1st Christmas as standard with the option to add a name suitable for any person or couple celebrating their first Christmas.
£12.99 for a set of 2 trees which are available from the Getting Personal website. These decorations are excellent value for money and look brilliant on the Christmas tree.
If there was thing I’d love to see on these decorations would be the option to engrave the year in someway. I might buy some ribbon with the date on to replace the ribbon so that they are linked to 2013.
