Disclaimer: I was sent the products free of charge for the purpose of this review, all words are my own and this forms an honest and open review. I also received a voucher as a little Mum time treat too. Thanks Hipp Organic.
Little Mr was recently sent the new complete range of food pouches from Hipp Organic Pouches to try out. I’m so proud of my him as he’s tries pretty much any food you give him and he’ll decide what he likes in an instant, usually by blowing wet raspberries and blowing the said contents of the spoon out of his mouth.
The new Hipp Organic pouches have been well received. There’s a wide selection of flavours in both sweet and savoury options including Mild Tomato and Chicken Curry, Sweet Potato, Cauliflower and Sweetcorn Bake and Vegetable and Chicken Risotto.
Little Mr enjoys the fruit pouches for a mid-morning snack with his favourite being Mango, Apple and Peach. It’s good to know that he can have a range of flavours and he’s getting at least one of his 5 portions of fruit and vegetables per pouch.
The pouches are ideal for popping in the changing bag for snacks, lunch or dinner for when you’re out and about or for when time is against you and you need to feed an upset and hungry baby. The textures have been great although the smoother purees are no longer a particular favourite of Little Mr’s but perfectly fine when mixed with a dollop of natural yoghurt for an after dinner treat.
The pouches retail at 65p for 100g pouch which I believe is a bit of a bargain as you couldn’t buy all the fresh ingredients and make your own for that price. (Prices checked as of 22.11.2013 with Tesco)
Hipp Organic have released this colourful and interesting infographic on the back of their recent research. Did you start your little one’s weaning journey on a Monday? Do you feed your baby foods you don’t like yourself? I know I do and in most cases Little Mr loves it.
I’ve got one hamper full of Hipp Organic goodies (worth £25) to give away to one lucky reader.
All you need to do is leave me a comment telling me what your baby’s favourite food is?
One winner will be selected at random from all the blog comment entries (Only one blog comment per person please) and the hamper will be sent to a UK address only by Hipp Organic. The giveaway ends on 6th December 2013. Good luck!
