Halfway through the Aldi Mamia Nappyometer Challenge

We’re more than half way through the month and I thought I’d best update you on how we’re getting on with the Aldi Mamia nappyometer challenge.

We’re ploughing through the nappies. We’ve got 2 packs left of the 5 we were sent so we’re averaging a pack of nappies per week. We’ve had no leaks so far. The nappies are very absorbent and easily hold over 8 hours worth of urine. Little Mr wees a lot! The only disappointment is that first thing in the morning there is a definite smell to the nappies. We can’t really compare the nappies to other brands as yet for ‘all night absorption’ as Little Mr’s only been sleeping for over 8 hours in recent weeks.

We’ve had 1 faulty nappy so far. The right hand tab was missing and looks as though it’s been sealed inside the nappy rather than outside the nappy (see below). Luckily we were at home when we discovered this so was able to reach for a new nappy. Not sure I would of been so happy if it was my last nappy and we were out and about!
