Mombo nursing pillow by Comfort and Harmony // Review

Picture the scene; it’s early in the morning, you’ve had 3 hours sleep (if you’re lucky) and the baby stirs for a feed. You climb out of bed, pick baby up and let the feast begin. I don’t know about you but one of the things I’ve found the most frustrating about the ‘night shift’ is being able to support my baby enough so that he feeds well and you’re comfortable. Feeding a newborn can take time.

Luckily, we were sent a Mombo Nursing Pillow by Comfort and Harmony to help us through the small hours. The pillow is a great shape, designed to hug your curves whilst supporting baby whilst feeding. It’s no secret that we’re not breastfeeding but the pillow is great for bottle feeding too and even Dads can get in on the pillow action. The pillow is incredibly soft so perfect for contact with your little one’s skin. The pillow also comes with a vibrating insert which Olly has found very soothing. He loves the gentle movement so during the day once Olly has been fed, he spends some time resting on the pillow and is very content.

The pillow is new to the UK market (originally from the US) and can be found in Toys R Us stores across the UK. The pillow isn’t cheap at £49.99 but it’s dual purpose would make it a worthwhile investment.

We have found the cushion to be invaluable over the last 4 weeks and would definitely recommend the product to our friends expecting little ones. If you’d like to find out more about the Mombo nursing pillow, head on over to their page on Facebook.
