Capturing special memories

Those who follow me on Instagram know how much I love to take photographs but there’s a big difference between photos taken on my trusty camera phone and professional ones. Last weekend we took Olly to have some professional photographs taken as everyday he seems to be changing in some way so we wanted to get some photographs of him as a tiny newborn and also get some of just the three of us as a family.

We had a lovely morning with Jade and Natalie, the ladies from Picture This Forever. They made us feel very welcome and instantly put us at ease. They took lots of shots of Olly, put him in various baskets for different poses and with different props and he looked so adorable. Unfortunately, as my Son had his nappy off he took the opportunity to relieve himself. Thank goodness for washing machines!

He was very well behaved and the photographs we have seen so far are absolutely brilliant. I was quite reluctant to have my photograph taken but I’m so pleased I got involved. I’m loving the photographs of all three of us together. I’m so proud of my little family.

If you’re in the West Midlands and want some newborn or family photographs, I can highly recommend Picture This Forever. They’re on Facebook and their photography packages are really reasonable and definitely worth the money.

This isn’t a sponsored post by the way, I just wanted to share how happy we are with our photographs and as the ladies are hoping to grow their business I thought I’d give them a bit of a mention.
