BabyShilts is due in 2 days time.. He seems very comfy in there so I’ve absolutely no idea when he’s going to make an appearance but with his arrival imminent, we’ve shopped and stocked the cupboards and fridge/freezer with produce that we can cook up quite quickly should we need to eat on the go.
I did consider batch cooking some meals but both hubby and I are rubbish at getting meals out of the freezer leaving them to defrost so we’ve bought some meat we can cook from frozen, we’ve got lots of frozen veg in which we can use and lots of tinned stuff in for convenience. It’s nothing award winning and certainly not diet friendly but I think we’ve got more important things to be concerned with really.
So, here’s the meal plan for the week based on quick and easy meals that either of us can cook at dinner time…
Ham and Pineapple Pizza
Chicken Curry and rice
Pork Steaks with vegetables and mash
Homemade beef burgers and salad
Battered fish, oven chips and mushy peas
Sausages and mash with onion gravy
