I’ve finally got time to write up some blog posts. This is the first Meal Planning Monday of 2013 for me and it marks the start of my annual leave. I’m quite relieved to be off work, all our baby prep is done so there’s nothing much for me to do except relax, watch DVDs and get some baking and cooking done now I’ve got some time.
Here’s the plan for this weeks meals..
Tuesday: Chilli Meatballs
Wednesday: Chicken Tikka Masala
Thursday: Sausage and Mash
Friday: Chicken in Wild Mushroom Sauce
Saturday: Toad in the hole
All the ingredients are in the house as well as extras so there’s no excuse not to cook them. I’m hoping to bake some bread this week and perhaps even cook my Christmas Cake. I bought one of those all-in-one box jobby’s from Tesco but never actually got round to baking it. I might bake it now and keep it in for my Dad and Father-in-law who both love it when they visit me and BabyShilts in the next few weeks. I’m also planning on baking some lovely biscuits for guests but they are so yummy, I might end up eating them and that’s not going to do my weight any good but we’ll see.
