Back at it..

After a wonderful weekend at my friend’s wedding and a very lazy day at home yesterday, I’m back on track today looking ahead to a week on plan.

The wedding was brilliant. My friend Amanda looked beautiful in her ivory wedding dress and her husband Mark looked very dashing in his suit. It was an intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by family and friends with readings from the Bride’s sister and Grooms Mum. After the photographs, we were served Pimms and canapés then enjoyed a marvellous wedding breakfast of warm scotch egg with apple puree to start, corn fed chicken breast with dauphinoise potatoes, butternut squash and green beans followed by a shortbread, raspberry and clotted cream stack. It was delicious! A live band played some top tunes to entertain the guests then cheese and biscuits with ‘proper’ bread was served to top up the already full guests. It was brilliant. I got slightly intoxicated, Pimms is lethal, but so so moreish. You don’t even realise how much you’re drinking until you’ve had a couple glasses too many. Well that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Evans…x

So back to it this week and I’ve dug out my old journals from last year to see how I managed to lose 3 stone in the first 6 months of WW. I’m looking for inspiration and motivation to get this weight shifting again. My twice weekly Zumba classes are coming to an end as my Zumba instructor is going off to have a baby so I’m planning on stepping up my C25k sessions as I’m struggling to fit them in during the week due to other commitments.

Meals this week include:

* Gammon, pineapple and salad/chips for hubby
* Chicken curry and rice
* Pork chops with garlic and dill, potatoes and vegetables
* Healthy grill (fry) up

I’ve linked up this post with Mrs M’s Meal Planning Monday so head on over for a nosy at what other lovelies are eating this week.

I’m not expecting anything exciting at the scales tomorrow in light of this weekend’s food and drink intake but hey, I had fun and that’s the main thing. I got into my beautiful dress and felt fantastic.

Here’s hoping the week ahead is filled with more positivity and sunshine {sig}
