I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…


I heart routine. I do. It makes everything work. I know where I am, what I’m doing and how to fit Weight Watchers into my life. I’m back into my work routine, I’ve started a new exercise routine including a new Zumba class and it’s going well.

The scales showed a loss of 1.5lb this week and whilst I’m a little disappointed (i’m being brutally honest here!) I’ll take the loss. I’m hoping next week will be another good week and see me nearer the 5 stone total loss mark.

I mentioned last week that I was looking to find a new Zumba class and I plucked up the courage to attend a new group last night and I loved it. The group was huge compared to what I have been used to, about 60 women all ranging in ages, shapes and sizes. I found myself a spot on the 3rd row back and joined in. It was a lot more aerobic than I’m used to but I’m hoping that’s a good thing. I came out after an hour sweating, sticky and generally feeling like I’d had a good work out. Will definitely be going back next week.

Food for the week is going quite well. We’ve planned the meals for the week and our current weekly meal plan looks like this..

Tuesday: Sausage, mash and vegetables
Wednesday: Chicken stir fry with chow mein sauce
Thursday: Italian chicken with basmati rice
Friday: WW meal for me as hubby is away with his school
Saturday: Cottage pie with additional vegetables

I’m going to continue walking Mikey every night and do Zumba on the wii a couple of nights this week too to try and get me back into the next stone bracket. I’ve got 2.5lb to go until I can re-award myself the shoes and I’m hoping I can do that in the next 2 weeks.

This week I’ve also managed to squeeze in a bit of sewing and I’ve really enjoyed it. Hoping to do a bit more this week too so watch this space. {sig}

    well done on your loss. Its a good healthy loss even if not as much as you would like. I found that exercise helped me greatly as well and it took a couple weeks to start to show on the scales. Some weeks it still doesn’t to be honest but then will follow a couple weeks later by a good loss. Just do what feels right and feels good.

    I have to agree with you that having routine is bliss for following weightwatchers, I failed so much at it when was at University and then jobless, as much as you may try and create one for yourself its not a stuck in stone one so never seems to follow to plan. Its one of reasons I actually enjoy going to work, I just hate the early mornings lol.
