Yesterday I drove up to Hoar Cross Hall's Eden Spa for my friends Hen Day. We'd booked a day of rest and relaxation and wow, it was just what the doctor ordered. It was brilliant. I wasn't sure what to expect or whether I would enjoy it but I really did. First up, I went to the ... READ the POST

It’s started….C25k
I've been saying for ages that I was going to start the C25k (Couch to 5k) running plan so tonight I did. Came home from work, changed and made a start. And here's the proof that I completed day one of week one. You may notice there are two ticks along the bottom. The second tick was from the ... READ the POST
Wiggle it Wednesday
This week is proving very active. I went to Zumba on Monday night and then had so much energy I vacuumed the entire house whilst bopping to some tunes. I'm back in control and it feels good. I've had a good day, stuck to the foods I'd planned on eating and have being able to drink quite a bit of water. For our dinner tonight, I cooked up some Vegetable Lasagne. I saw the recipe in the Good Food booklet that the lovely Lisa sent me and it looked ... READ the POST
and the scales said…
I sneaky peeked this morning before work so kind of knew what the damage would be. It looked like a 5lb gain. Ouch. The scales at weigh in said a significant gain of 6lb! I wasn't shocked but I am even more prepared now to make a difference this week. We've got our meals planned for the week ahead ... READ the POST
Handmade Monday 09.04.2012
I've been doing a bit of cross stitch recently as I seem to have misplaced the 'get out the sewing machine' mojo. I really enjoy cross stitch as it can be picked up pretty much anywhere and doesn't require too much equipment. I can also make quite a bit of progress on the aida in a spare half an ...
