Christmas goodies galore!


I hope you have all had a fabulous Christmas. I had a fantastic time catching up with family and friends, eating too much processed food and nibbling chocolate for breakfast. I had a lot of fantastic gifts. Hubby bought me a fab selection of my favourite things including a cake stand, Thorntons choccies, a Cath Kidston mug, cake baking goodies and a Boofle bear apron. Other gifts included a gorgeous gingerbread man charm for my Links of London bracelet, Kirstie Allsops’ new book, more baking goodies and the Take That Progress Live Tour DVD. I have been spoilt!

We have also been given this huge lot of high in calorie/propoint yumminess…

Luckily for hubby’s work colleagues, the three or four tins of biscuits will be going to school on the first day back. I can’t have them in the house. I don’t really eat biscuits that I haven’t made but if they are in the house, they’ll be calling me! I’ve been given some yummy Ferrero Roche, some Hotel Chocolat angels, a Cadburys selection box and my most favourite, a couple of boxes of Jelly Beans… nom nom!

Hubby on the other hand has been given this lovely lot..

I’m sure it’ll keep him quiet for a few weeks. Our friends and family obviously know us very well!

So after a week of eating whatever appeared in front of me, I prepared myself for getting back on track today so I weighed myself this morning and was pretty appauled at the figures that glanced back at me. So I’m back on track, I have 6 days to lose the mega pounds I piled on but I’m determined. 2011 was the year I got my head around losing the flab but 2012 is going to be MY year. Wish me luck {sig}
