#Fuff Week 3..

Weight Wars

Doesn’t the weather make a massive difference to your week? As I mentioned earlier in the week, here in the UK we’ve been having the most gorgeous weather, like seriously hot, holiday hot we call it and it’s made a pants week at work a lot more bearable.

What have you done this week to help get to your goals?
I had a bit of a blow out on Tuesday night (post weigh in) which didn’t do me any favours, I ate far too much chocolate and drank too much fizzy pop so I felt quite sluggish on Wednesday. To counteract the crappiness, I went out with my friend walking on Wednesday evening and managed to tot up the activity points. I’ve done some form of exercise every evening which has helped, mostly outside because it has been beautiful and very warm well into the evening. It is so wierd with the temperature being so warm but it being dark outside. Doesn’t feel like Autumn at all!

What have you done to make yourself feel fabulous?
Aside from the tiredness I’ve been suffering from lately, I’ve been sticking to my daily points and managing to drink plenty of water. I went to the gym on Sunday for an induction and managed to reach Stage 6 on the fitness test on the bike. I have no idea what equates to but all I know is that I managed to beat my hubby who could only reach Stage 5. Woop woop!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What are your goals? Ambitions?
Ohhh where do I see myself in 5 years? Well, I’ll be 33 by then and I’m hoping well into Motherhood. I would love a family and obviously this is one of my reasons for taking the whole diet and exercise regime seriously. Firstly, I want to be able to conceive and secondly, I want to be a healthy mum who is a good role model for her kids not scoffing crap and fast food because she hasn’t planned a meal or got much time to cook. (I am not having a go at anyone here, bytheway, just my viewpoint). So hopefully, in 5 years time I will have got to goal and maintained (I have lost 5 stone in the last 3 years so I know I can do it!) and my hopes for a family will be realised.

Careerwise I hope I’ll have gained enough experience to help me move up through the HR field moving into a more senior managerial role perhaps. But who knows! I’m more focused on getting my mind and body sorted than be a career girl. (I would’nt have said that 8 years ago, believe me!)

Give us a tip or a fact. About anything, what is something great you’ve heard that everyone should know?
According to Jamie Oliver,  you know when an egg has gone rotten because it floats in a glass of water. A fresh edible egg will always lie on its side at the bottom of a glass of water!

Fun Question: What was your most recent dream that you can remember?
I used to LOVE remembering my dreams and looking up their meanings. I’ve got a book and everything. Lately, I’ve been so tired I’ve been sleeping so well I don’t remember the dream when I wake up. I know in the past I’ve had recurrent dreams, they never seem to follow on but I always seem to remember one or two bits that are always the same. Very odd!

My positive picture of the day is this:

 Hope you all have a fab #Fuff Week 3 {sig}

    The weather has been amazing hasn’t it? I love a bit of sunshine, am not looking forward to it coming to an end.

    The weather totally makes a difference. Ironically, here in Kuwait we’re finally DOWN to 29 degrees – what a relief from the mid-40s and high 30’s of last week! Isn’t it funny how perspectives differ?
    Great positive picture :)
