Week 35: weigh in update..


So after facing the music at weigh in last week I had decided that I was going to have a good week. I wanted a really good loss so made sure I was disciplined with myself in both exercise and with my food. I managed to get quite a bit of exercise in through the week including zumba, walking and aquafit which I think definitely helped this week. Weigh in showed I’d lost 3.5lb this week. Being honest, I’m not over the moon with that as i’d honestly hoped my massive holiday gain would come off quicker but then again, i’m being too harsh on myself and 3.5lb is a good weightloss.

Looking back, even though I had a fab holiday I’m annoyed I put so much weight on during one flippin’ week! I’m worried now I’m not going to reach the target I’ve set myself and I’ll let myself down! I’ve got 6 weigh ins to go (6 weeks) so being realistic, 1lb per week will take me to 49.5lb loss or 2lb per week will take me to 55.5lb. I’m going to go all out this week and do extra exercise and try not to use any of my weekly points.

Hurdles this week include meeting my friend for tea for a catch up on Friday and a family party on Saturday. I’ve been told that Aquafit is moving to a later time on Thursday (9pm-9:45pm) and I don’t think i’m going to make that, it’s so late I’ll be asleep in the pool. The leisure centre we go to are putting on a Zumba class between 8pm-9pm and the instructor is the same Aquafit instructor so obviously she can’t do both and the leisure centre think Zumba will make them more money so wins the earlier slot. I want to try the new Zumba class so will probably do that instead.

    3.5lbs is brilliant! Don’t be so hard on yourself. Keep going and you will get there :)
