Meal Planning Monday 12.09.2011


It’s Monday again, which can only mean one thing…a fresh new week of scrummy meals!

Here’s what I have planned for the week ahead (trying to take full advantage of my kitchen which I absolutely love cooking in)

Monday: Oven baked battered cod, potatoes and vegetables
Tuesday: Post weigh in meal of sausage, mash, vegetables and a splash of gravy
Wednesday: Chicken korma and basmati rice (WW recipe)
Thursday: Spaghetti bolognese (WW recipe)
Friday: Beef lasagne (WW recipe)
Saturday: Winter hotpot with herby cobbler (WW recipe)

Lunches will be eaten at work so will either be ham salad pittas or chicken salad

I’m trying to get back to basics with my food and cook things from scratch (where possible) using lots of lovely fresh ingredients. With the weather set to be awful again this week I decided I wanted good ol’ fashioned comfort food but WW styley that will please hubby too! In terms of WW ProPoints, most of the meals are between 8-12pp which means that I’ll be full and have less points left so less picking during the evening.
