Variety is the spice of life…


Well, they say that variety is the spice of life and you know what? they are so right! I took onboard the twitter advice I’d received from WWSoupDragon and the advice from my leader Deb, about eating less carbs of an evening and eat more during the morning and for lunch and it seemed to have worked. I lost 3.5lb this week and I am so relieved! I have done loads of exercise too so I’m really pleased. I’m going to continue to switch things round this week and mix my lunches and dinners up a bit. I’ve really found that eating more for breakfast is helping me feel fuller for longer, perhaps just eating a piece of fruit at about 10:30am and then had my filling lunch to make me last until dinner time. I’ve actually really enjoyed eating more vegetables this week too and I’ve not really missed potatoes, rice and pasta.

I’ve got 3lb to lose for my next milestone which is my 3 stone loss and i’m really hoping I can do that in the next couple of weeks. I want to be able to go on my camping weekend (at the end of this month) knowing i’ve got my 3 stone loss so I can move forward and get moving on the next 2 stone.
