Lost my sewing mojo!

Thank goodness it’s Friday! It’s been a tough week and so long (not used to 5 working 5 days! lol) work is getting extremely busy which is great but it’s also very draining so when I get home I’m eating tea, exercising and then going to sleep. How boring am i? There’s just not enough time to do everything. How do people fit everything in?

I seem to have lost my sewing mojo too, it’s hard to think about sewing when I’m so tired. If I sew when I’m tired I make mistakes and then I end getting frustrated with it and put it away for a bit. I haven’t made any mistakes lately but I did try and match up my patches for my sunkissed quilt and they didn’t match so I guess thats why I haven’t carried on with it. It’s still hanging up in my dining room and I walk past it every time I go into the kitchen admiring its gorgeousness. I’ll try and find my mojo somewhere, its got to be around here somewhere.

As I type i’m waiting for my dinner to finish cooking. We’re having chilli bean and beef hotpot with 40g rice and paprika tortilla chips.  It’s a massive 17 propoints but I guess it’ll be worth it. I don’t eat much red meat, we tend to stick to chicken so it’ll be a nice change. Just hope it comes out ok. {sig}

    I don’t think you are boring, but like many other who have the busy times. Not boring just life..

    Oh it’s so horrid when that happens. Your muse just gets up and runs off and you are left with the ‘feeling’ of I want to finish something but I don’t want to finish you, and I can’t be bothered to finish you anyway lol… I don’t get that often becasue I have more than one project on the go, unless it’s comissioned. I did send you an email about a quilt along that I thought you might be interested in, but it must have become lost in the post lol.. A quilt along my kick your mojo in to gear?

    I hope you did enjoy the meal, I’ve seen you other posts and you have done fantastic. I know myself how hard it is to get to a place and how wonderful you feel when you get there.. So congrats on the weightloss and a big well done to having the willpower to stick with it..
