Review: Fisher-Price Lion Walker

Our friends at Fisher-Price knew that Little Mr was on the move and have sent him the perfect Baby’s First Christmas gift, a Lion Walker.

The walker is suitable for use by babies aged 6 months plus and can be used in two modes; babies can either sit down and play with the interactive lion face or stand up and push the lion along.

Little Mr isn’t walking yet so has been playing with the walker on his playmat touching the lion’s nose that lights up red, pressing the piano keys to hear the different sounds and playing with the interactive features including the peek-a-boo book with flip over pages, a mirror and ears that can be rolled.

We have attempted to let Little Mr walk with the walker but he is still too unstable on his feet. With assistance he will hold the handle and lift his feet up to walk but is not ready yet to move the walker by himself.  When the walker is pushed along, it plays jolly music and happy sounds.

The walker is lightweight and can be easily pushed along, my only concern would be that Little Mr would lean forwards on it and he would easily fall over whilst he is still unstable on his feet. Hence why he needs assistance and should only be used with adult supervision. The walker will be a good aid for his development and should give him the confidence and build his strength to begin toddling about.

Price

The Fisher-Price Lion Walker is currently priced at £24.99 in most online retailers *prices correct as of 17.12.2013
