What better way to encourage a baby to crawl than to play with a moving train set and animals. Fisher-Price recently sent us the Amazing Animals Sing & Go Choo Choo train set for Little Mr to play with and it’s been a fantastic hit.
The bright and colourful Choo Choo train comes with a removable trailer and three animals that can hitch a ride; a Giraffe, an Elephant and a Monkey. The train is full interactive with sounds, lights and music. Press down the green light up funnel and the music will begin and the train will move in a forward motion. Little Mr was amazed that the train moved and it was lovely to see him grab out to reach it. Press down on the yellow funnel and an array of popular animal sounds are made. You can hear the elephants trumpet, monkeys giggle and a lions roar to name just a few.
Little Mr has enjoyed playing with the animals as they are fully movable with joints, different textures and even chewable ears for teething babies. Place them in the train and the pressure pad will play a different tune. There are volume controls which allow you to turn down or turn off the music as well as the ability to stop the train from moving forward encouraging baby to play with the train set and animals in one position.
As a parent, I have enjoyed watching Little Mr interact with this toy. He has learnt to press the buttons to hear the noises and likes to play with the animals and move different parts of their body. The whole train set is wonderfully bright in primary colours with smooth edges ideal for babies aged 6 months plus. Little Mr has been encouraged to move with this toy so I would recommend it for babies to encourage interaction and movement. It is a really lovely toy and Little Mr has really enjoyed playing with it and would make a lovely Baby’s First Christmas present.
