Meal Planning Monday 23.04.2012

Another weekend gone in a flash, another week at work ahead: back to my usual routine. I mentioned last week that I do love routine and how it helps structure the days. This week there’s not much on during the evenings except the usual exercise/sewing combo. On Friday night I’m off out with my WW buddies for a few drinks and a curry followed by a spa day for my friends Hen Do on the Saturday.

The meals planned for this week include…
Monday: Chicken Vegetable Stir fry with chow mein sauce
Tuesday: Battered fish and oven chips with mushy peas
Wednesday: Peri peri chicken with basmati rice and salad
Thursday: Turkey and bacon burgers with salad (WW recipe)

I’m trying to make more of an effort with my exercise. I took Mikey out for a good walk over the weekend and even tried to do a bit of running. (Running with a dog is near impossible – every lamp post and street sign was a target!) I keep talking about doing the Couch to 5k running program but I haven’t started it yet. Taking the dog out for over 30 minutes then going out again doesn’t appeal but if I want to get this weight shifting again I need to do something.

I’m off to my new Zumba class again tonight and have roped in a friend to come with me. Last week my legs were aching after doing side lunges so I wonder what will ache after tonight’s class?

Weight loss prediction for tomorrow night weigh in – hoping for 1lb at least! Fingers crossed {sig}
