Happy Valentines Day!
Here are my gorgeous flowers that my hubby bought me for Valentines. Aren’t they lovely?
I’d already had a cute little bear with a mini bag of Thorntons choccies first thing this morning but hubby had said that I’d get the rest when he got home from work. I wasn’t expecting these!

I’ve had a good weekend food wise and I’ve done quite a bit of exercise with the woofer so fingers crossed the scales will be kind to me on Wednesday.. Here’s hoping

Hoorah for the Sunshine…
The weather here is definitely improving. We’ve had a few days of nice cool, crisp sunshine and I love it. I’m really looking forward to the Summer and hopefully I’ll be a few stone lighter by then and i’ll be able to enjoy nice, sunny Summer days enjoying the sunshine in short sleeve t-shirts and even shorts! Ohh that’ll be nice.
In preparation for the Summer months, I’m so pleased that I’ve been able to get hold of one of these gorgeous Jelly Rolls;

It’s a gorgeous range of fabrics called Sunkissed by Sweetwater for Moda and I love it! I’ve been looking for this fabric for ages and I saw it on a new online fabric store so I snapped it up. I’ve also bought the charm pack too and I’ve got lots of ideas that i’d like to play around with before I decide on which quilt I’m going to tackle with it. I’ve seen loads of gorgeous quilts such as here, here and here which I’d love to do myself but I’m sure I’ll decide nearer the time.

I think I’m also going to have to indulge in buying more fabric from the States as well. I really love the Sunkissed raindrops fabric and I’m sure i’d use that for the back of the quilt as I love dots and spots like that but have yet to see it in a store in the UK. I won’t be making the same mistake as last time though, I ended up paying £11.62 on top of what I’d paid for some fabric from the States so my cheaper-than-UK-fabric turned out quite pricey in the end.
If anyone spots any of the Sunkissed range of fabrics in a store in the UK (online or actual shop) I would be eternally grateful if you could let me know. I’d buy the whole lot if I could afford it!
