Nostalgia Quilt – The Beginning
I mentioned before that I wanted to use my Christmas goodies on a quilt design I had seen. So today, I set out on an adventure of quilting! I’ve never made a ‘proper’ quilt before so having bought all the fabric I decided today was the day to start! I’d previously cut up the Cotton Patch Nostalgia jelly roll into 5″ strips over Christmas so following this brilliant tutorial I set up my rotary cutter and cutting board and began.
I’m hoping to be able to finish the quilt top tomorrow then I guess it’ll be coming out during the evenings this week as I won’t want to leave it unfinished. So far, not too bad, although it is a bit wonky in places but for my first attempt I think it’s ok!
