Strange week….

This weeks weigh in showed I’d put on 4.5lb! Total shock, I’ve been good so cannot explain why I put on so much, however am awaiting the arrival of aunt flo this weekend so perhaps that’s her way of letting me know she’s on her way! Quite annoyed though…
Went Christmas shopping on Thursday, managed to purchase quite a number of items for family and had a good look for a few things I wouldn’t mind for my birthday, then went for a pub lunch and really fancied a Ploughmans lunch so indulged on that! Does shopping count as exercise? Really hope so considering we spent at least 5 hours trapesing round the shops!
Yesterday we went to our cousins wedding and I actually wore a dress! Quite enjoyed the day, bought back many memories of our own wedding day and wished I’d lost weight back then…but never mind you live and learn! Have totally got back on track today, as would really love to lose what I put on last week and get to my 4th stone sometime in November. Must get my ass back to the gym and really work at it!

Right off to get on with housework and begin my uni work, 8 weeks until Christmas……help!

Feeling stressed!

I’m feeling stressed! I have 10 weeks until I need to hand in my management report and so far, I’ve done jack all! I really need to get my head into uni mode and get this done, as soon as its done i’ll never have to pick up a uni text book again! But there’s so much other stuff going on as well like work, WW, preparing for christmas, being a good friend to my mates who are having a proper shit time of it at the moment and I dunno if its just me being extra sensitive but there are babies everywhere…friends having babies, new babies at work, friends on facebook announcing their news..I’m sure its just me but because i’m more aware of it does this mean I’m seriously considering having one….I’m feeling guilty because i’ve got no time for the gym when I really need to get my ass down there and get my lard shifted! But I have no time….

Hubby’s getting busier too, he’s working on a web design project with a friend so is up all night working on that, he’s accepting every opportunity to help with his football teams games, he’s a coach / scout for a League football team, as well as being a manager of 11 people within his workplace – i’m a bit scared he’s spreading himself too thinly…God, what a pair we make eh?

Anyway, this week I’m at work until Wednesday then weigh in (I’m feeling a bit bloated this week as I’m expecting mother nature sometime over the weekend so am hoping for a STS!), Thursday we’re christmas shopping and Friday we’re at a family wedding (I’m wearing a dress!!!!). Then hopefully at the weekend I can get my head in a few uni books and make a good start on my project! Wishful thinking…

50lb….nearly

Well weighed in and lost 1.5lb so am very pleased with that! Also got presented with my 50lb certificate this evening and I got all excited as my card reads 50.5lb lost BUT my records at home show a different story of 49lb so I’m not sure I’ve actually reached the 50lb goal but I cant be much of it so I’m gonna accept it graciously and have another great week to try and lose the next half a stone before mid November.

Have pigged out this evening, had a load of points left for tea after virtually starving myself to death today (not out of choice I must add) and so I enjoyed a sausage special from the chippy with mushy peas and a bar of dairy milk…yum yum….
Have quite a bit to look forward to this week – my 17 month old nephew is staying over on Friday night so me and hubby are going to take him to the farm on Saturday, on Sunday my hubby is playing in a supporters game versus the allstars and then its half term at work. Although I’m working during most of half term it’ll be lovely and quiet and hubby will be home to get the jobs done…(haven’t told him which jobs I want doing yet!) Then, next Friday we’ve got a family wedding and the following Tuesday is my birthday so lots to plan for and i’m quite looking forward to it all…off to bed now I’m beat x

11 days and counting…

to reach my 4 stone total loss and I’ve got 8.5lb to lose..I’m a very realistic kinda girl and I’m not sure if i’m going to be manage that (unless I have a super 7lb loss again but with a family wedding next week and my birthday coming up that ain’t gonna happen) so I’m going to change my goal to be more realistic and say that I’d love to lose that 8.5lb within 4 weeks so thats mid November. I’d be well chuffed if I can lose at least 2lb a week between now and then! Weigh in tomorrow night and I’ve been a good girl this week, completely stuck to plan so am hoping for at least 1lb off. My work trousers are becoming baggier by the week which is fab, I’m so much closer to getting my ass into the smaller size I cannot wait..
My 27th birthday is in 14 days and I love birthdays! I think as you get older you realise how special life actually is and how important it is to take every opportunity that gets thrown at you because you don’t know when its going to be taken away from you.. Anyway, this year i’m hoping to bake my work colleagues some gorgeously decorated cupcakes instead of buying some cakes from the supermarket. Reason why i’m doing them for work really is because if I bake a batch for no real reason I know I’d scoff the lot so if I bake them for a reason I know I can’t pig out!

Anyway, hope everyone is having a good week, i’ll let you know how I get on tomorrow x

Gutted….

I was so looking forward to last night and having saved some points for it I was well geared up for enjoying my food and then I get stomach cramps all day and felt sick all night! Really not sure why I felt so crap (although there is a sickness bug going round my family) so I’m hoping I haven’t caught a touch of that. Anyways we went to the restaurant and I ordered prawn cocktail, chicken and maple pork ribs and caramel apple crumble..If I’d have eaten it all I’d be looking at about 45ish points but as I only ate the starter, a piece of chicken and several ribs and a spoonful of ice cream i’m hoping that the 32 points I’d saved (including yesterdays allowance) was enough to cover it..
Today need to get my bum into gear and finish off the housework, start my uni work, do the ironing and shake this miserable mood i’m in out as I’m getting quite fed up of myself to be honest!
