I’ve got that friday feeling…

I feel really motivated at the moment, I think it’s because last night I had a trawl through my weigh in card and realised that I have been in the same stone bracket for a whopping 39 weeks! Just imagine how many lbs I could have lost if I had been really good and not yo-yo’d around for such a long time! Anyway, i’m not going to dwell on it now (think i’ve already done that too much) and now i’m back completely and totally on track with tracking, gyming and swimming…

Having chicken ratatouille (sp!) with new potatoes for my dinner for a grand total of 7 points which I think is a bargain considering how much veg there is.. and then i’ve got 2 pts from yesterday banked with 2 remaining for tonight so I can have a pink and white feast! I love ‘em! Each one is only 0.5pt so I can splurge on them more than I would with a bar of chocolate..

Am also trying to re-style my blog and I got into a complete mess with HTML codes last night, I think I should leave the technical computery stuff to my hubby but anyways if youhappen to stumble on my page whilst i’m having a play around, please bare with me and i’ll be with you shortly!

Insert moody sulky face here….

Went to weigh in tonight and managed to put on 1.5lb! Am not impressed to be honest as I have tracked everything I have eaten and drunk since Saturday as I was eating properly from then onwards and as far as I’m aware I haven’t gone over my points and I’ve been really good….Oh well, am hoping it’s just the evidence of having my monthly last week and not eating proper meals.. I’ve already visited the gym once this week (45mins cardio work and then a 20 min swim!) and am going tomorrow night too hopefully I can get off this plateau i’m firmly wedged on!

Will continue to track everything and will probably upload my weekly meals here at the weekend for you peeps to have a gander at. Have to admit, am getting slightly depressed about maintaining in this stone bracket, just wish I could sneek under the next one….anyway, line drawn and tomorrow I will be well and firmly on track for next weeks loss!

I will get there I will!!

Dont have many plans for the weekend.. my nephew Kye (15 months) is coming to stay overnight on Friday as his mom and dad will be both working early Saturday morning…I love having him, he’s so cheeky and he changes so much week to week. I am so lucky that we don’t live too far away and so we can spend time with him.
And yep, I am broody but unfortunately am far too sensible at the moment with finishing off my cipd qualification and being so fresh into my job…and know that financially I don’t think we are ready for a baby yet! Although is there ever a right time? I dunno….I’d also be worried about having a baby being so overweight, I’ve read some stories where overweight women have had absolutely fine pregnancies and very healthy babies but then there’s the odd few that say being overweight has caused all these problems for their babies and I don’t think I could do that, I’d feel selfish! So there’s another incentive to get my ass to the gym, the idea of having a baby! Eeeek!!!

More tea vicar…..

Back to work tomorrow after two weeks holiday and I don’t really want to go back! I do love my job so I know that it’s not that I don’t really want to go back I just really love being at home pottering around, having a lie in and spending time with Greg and Mikey..(For all of you who don’t know my husband Greg is a Teacher and therefore is extremely lucky and is given a weeks plus holidays every 6-8 weeks!! I don’t sound too bitter do i? ha ha)

Got back on track with WW yesterday tracking everything I have eaten and drunk, bizarrely since I was ill last weekend I have found that I love drinking tea again with sweetener (I went off drinking tea last October when I was ill with the flu and couldn’t stand the smell or taste)..I’ve also had a renewed joy for orange squash so I’m powering my way through that too at the moment which is great ‘cos its no points!!
Didn’t manage to get to the gym this weekend, I had mountains of washing to do and have felt extremely guilty about not spending time with Mikey since we got him back from the Kennels so took him for a nice walk instead….Am hoping to get to the gym or possibly swimming tomorrow night as I really want to kick off my weight loss post illness with a renewed motivation for all things weightloss! It’s nearly been a whole year with WW and therefore I want to try my best to keep this weight loss moving in the right direction… I need to get off this plateau and move into the next stone bracket…I’m going to try and keep a very honest diary of what I’ve eaten this week and then post it on here for everyone to tell me where I’m going wrong and possibly give me their words of wisdom for me to improve on…I shall let you know how I get on…

Anyway, am off for a shower and some beauty sleep….night x

Greetings from North Devon

I'm blogging from Damage Barton, a lovely campsite near Mortehoe in North Devon. We arrived Monday in the pouring rain, managed to set the tent up wrong and got absolutely soaked in the process! Had sausage and chips for tea from the onsite chip van although could only manage half the portion! Went to bed feeling miserable hoping for a better following day..

Tuesday – woke up to a gorgeous day so decided to go to the beach at Woolacombe, had a fab day at the beach, invested in a small beach pod and enjoyed a devonshire ice cream whilst basking in the sun..For dinner we enjoyed salad, sausages and a burger cooked by Greg on his new safari chef thingy which was nice!

Wednesday – woke up to a very foggy morning couldn't see very far and it was really damp too! Decided to head along the south west coast to see what there was to discover. We visited Westward Ho! Clovelly and Bideford which we weren't that impressed with. Decided to head back towards the beach and spent a couple of hours at Putsborough beach which was nice. For dinner we had the remaining sausages and a burger again, eating on a very limited budget whilst camping and on ww don't really go hand in hand!

Today – Thursday, have spent this morning leisurely getting up and tidying up the tent and will be heading off to the beach later today! Mikey is returning from the kennels today, gregs mom and dad are picking him up for us and keeping him with them until we return tomorrow. I know he's only a dog but he's my baby and I've really missed him..anyways have a good day everyone x
